Do you have window treatments on your ...
Sliding doors? Our "maybe," "hopefully," "better be" house has sliders in the kitchen to the deck. The owner told me that the people in the house behind them told them that at night they can see right into their kitchen. They never put anything up, but I think I will want to.
Any pics?
This is a bad partial pic of the doors
I don't want blinds and really only have seen stuff like this:
Anyone have any other ideas? Eventually I would like to replace the sliders with French doors, but nit anytime soon.
Thanks!

Check this link from JCPenney. I think Ikea also has something similar

Re: Do you have window treatments on your ...
We don't currently but no one is behind us, just acres and acres of town land so I have no window treatments on the back of the house.
In our previous home we just had shears (got them at Marburn curtain wharehouse) on the sliders.
ETA: I looked closely at the pic and we have the same sliding door. JUst becareful of that latch, my contractor says it can break fairly easily, he's replaced a bunch

We do. We put curtains on curtain rings so they slide easily to open. I'll try to take a pic today and show you.

I have krappo blinds right now, bc we arent living there yet, just doing work, and dont want anyone peeking in and stealing out power tools, lol.
we also want to replace them with french doors - I like the style you posted, very pretty

we have a similar layout -sliding doors to deck we have vertical blinds. you can change they so they dont take away from the detail on the window & view.

We have french doors in the living room and I just bought sheers to put over them.....we have 2 acres of woods behind our house, so I didn't do it for privacy, more just to make the LR look pretty!

I have sheers over my sliding glass doors in our living room. We don't use the doors, it leads to a balcony.

we have sliders to a patio and stoop. We are putting up verital blinds with a curtain/drapery of some sort. Don't have pics yet because we didn't do it yet.
Just like a lot of things we haven't done yet in the house!

I agree! That looks great! I wasn't going to put any window treatments on our French Doors but if I do I think I will follow your lead.

This is what we have. It's in our dining room and we really don't use the doors at all. They are french doors and open up fully, but since we got central AC, we have no need to open them up.
The drapes/curtains can be untied in the center and pushed to the side, like the pp did in her pics.

I don't have a good picture... this is from the day when we first got our new dining room set, that is why the room is so bare!

I really love all of your pictures. They are great!
My French Doors are in my family room, do you still think I could do curtains? Maybe just a more casual kind of curtain?

I really like yours and November's. It also seems the most economical way to go instead of the custom route. I am so glad I asked
