Inspections
Hey Ladies,
Can you give names & numbers of guys who did your home/termite inspection. Our engineer is booked solid for the next month and cannot get in before 1/16/07. Based on our situation I really need an inspection by Sunday to proceed with our contracts. Luckily the sellers are looking to close by 3/1/07 (WOW, we need to close soon!!).

Just called Federated Home Inspections they quoted me $415 for the condo. My Dad's guy said $350 but he's booked. Does anyone else have any other recommendations??

i used housemasters (Jim O'Boyle)
it was $575 with termite and cesspoll verifications, so it should be cheaper for a condo...

We used an engineer, Warren Chesner. We were happy with him and will use him again when we find another house.

We used Ron Smith of AAA - 631/736.0015. He was thorough and brought a termite inspector with him.

We used Housemaster too, but our inpsector was Jamie Schaefer. We paid $550 for the first house and $525 for the second...I wonder what they will charge us for the 3rd.

Thanks Colleen, he by far was the cheapest and he actually asked who refered us to him. If you don't mind giving me your name via FM, he says since he only works through referrals.
We are def. using him and hopefully he can get in by Saturday the latest.

We used Federated Consultant Service: His name is Ron Pelligrino 1-800-422-4473. He even came in on his day off to get the inspection done ASAP for DH and I so we can go to contract this week. He was excellent and was VERY through!! Good Luck!
Sorry edited to add includes termite inspect. too!!
