**11/6 weekly MENU**
I need some inspiration for this week, so I'll start and edit as ideas come
Sat: BBQ Babyback Ribs, oven baked fries, coleslaw, and beans
Sunday: Lasagna with tossed salad and garlic bread
Monday: Chicken with Pilaf and Corn on the cob (looking for ideas for the chicken)
**So I decided to roast chicken breast with lemon, butter, stock, garlic and thyme....we shall see how it turns out and I'm baking sweet potatoes instead of the pilaf**
Tues: leftovers (my first night back in the office since baby)
Wed: BBQ Steak, PW crash potatoes & veggies
Thurs: Pea Soup with homemade croutons
Fri: Pizza

I was just thinking about my weekly menu before I go food shopping today! Here is what I have so far:
Monday: pasta, sauce & meatballs
Tuesday: tacos
Wednesday: grilled chicken with peppers and onions and brown rice
Thursday: have a party so probably something quick like pizza!
Friday: shrimp scampi and whole wheat linguini
Saturday: out to dinner maybe??

Thursday: Asian Marinated Fish, PW Crash Hot Potatoes, Sauteed Arugula and Radicchio
Friday: Arroz con Pollo and Curly Cress Salad
Saturday: Out to a Gala (no cooking!)
Sunday: Hofstra26's Mac ‘n Cheese, Carrots and Broccoli
Monday: Arroz con Pollo leftovers
Tuesday: Masala Meatloaf and Sauteed Arugula
Wednesday: Mac ‘n Cheese leftovers

Mon: Turkey salisbury steaks, sherry mushroom gravy, egg noodles, glazed carrots
Tues: Out
Weds: Johnny Marzetti, homemade buttermilk biscuits
Thurs: Leftovers
Fri: Baked parmesan pork chops, smothered green beans, rice pilaf
Sat: Chicken scampi, linguine, pesto garlic bread, burnt broccoli

Sun: Herb Roasted Chicken with PW hot crash potatoes, asparagus
Monday: Broccoli Cheddar Soup with crusty bread and baby green salad with a lemon vingarette
Tuesday: Turkey burgers, sweet potato fries and roasted corn
Wednesday: Breakfast for dinner...waffles, yogurt and fruit
Thursday: Pork Chops seared and then roasted in French Onion soup, wild rice and broccoli
Friday??? Maybe homemade pizza
Saturday: Birthday party...cook is off for the night.

Doing double duty with my package of pork loins and turkey breast:
Mon.- Marinated pork tenderloin, sauteed pierogies, peas
Tues.- Thanksgiving practice: turkey breast, gravy, homemade cranberry sauce, sausage stuffing, candies yams
Wed.- Pulled pork, beans, cole slaw
Thurs.- Homemade turkey soup with veggies, tubettini and grated locatelli cheese
Fri.- ?

I've been away too much so I'm craving home cooked food.
Sunday: Spaghetti & Meatballs, Salad, Garlic bread.. my ambition ends there.
Monday: Stuffed Turkey Peppers, Salad
Tuesday: Pork Milanese, spaghetti squash with butter and Reggiano, Broccoli Rabe
Wednesday: Tacos
Thursday: Hopefully OOT

Lemon baked chicken breasts - from Ina Garten's new cookbook.
Roasted shrimp with feta - also from same book.
I also want to make a big pot of pasta fagioli, served with a crusty baguette

Wed-Warm Roast beef w/au jus on rolls w/creamed spinach
Thurs-I never 'cook' on Thursdays so we usually have soup/panini, salad or leftovers, etc
Fri-homemade pizza, need to decide on toppings

we have a busy week so we planned to eat leftover a few nights:
sat - out
sun - parm crusted chicken, penne ala vodka, sauteed spinach
monday - shepards pie
tues - prod sundays leftovers
wed - prob monday leftovers
thurs - enchiladas
Fri - prob out before concert

Monday - chili
Tuesday - chili cornbread pie (with leftovers)
Wednesday - panko grilled chicken on the Forman with salad - blue cheese crumble & craisins
Thursday - homemade pizza
Friday - I am supposed to have "girls" night - so DH will be on his own - or he can make a plate and go hide upstairs in the cave..LOL.
Saturday - out to dinner with friends - GREAT Portugese restaurant in Mineola
Sunday - Pork Roast with mashed potatos and some veggies for me.

sooo, after all my talk about what I was making this weekend, the 21 Jameson shots ordered at dinner on Fri night really took a bite out of my food budget this week  so no fancy food or take out for us. thank GOD for the 1/8 of a cow in my freezer 
Sat:
lunch: chorizo, spinach and egg frittata with whole grain toast
dinner: seared delmonico steaks, sweet potato mash, sauteed spinach
Sun:
bkfst: homemade waffles, chorizo and eggs (with kiwi for luce)
lunch: fried eggplant and sauce on baguette
dinner: red sauce with beef shanks over ziti, salad
Mon: eggplant parmiggiano, pasta, salad
Tues: braised short ribs with potatos and carrots, corn, sweet dumpling squash
Wed: veggie omelets with black beans and home fries
Thurs: homemade pizza with spinach and eggplant
I am REALLY trying to stick with my budget so I am recycling everything!!!!

that reminds me...yesterday in the car we heard it "...when two become one" I was going to call you and just let the song play on the phone, but lucky for you, I left it at home

Tuesday: Braised short Ribs with carrots fingerlink potatoes and creusants
Wednesday: Whole wheat spagettie with turkey meatballs and homemade sauce.
Thursday: Mexican slow cooked Chicken thighs with Yellow rice and beans
Friday: Ham steaks French fries and corn with red peppers.
Saturday: We have a Party
Sunday: take out I have a shower during the day
