100% not on bord
My husband feels like I'm using him for S E X during my fertile week "WHAT!" I thought we were on the same page in trying to have a baby... I told him he if he was all in, he wouldn't feel like that. I can't even believe he feels that way it's so strange. I thought guys liked S E X...
I think I'm giving up cause let's face it, I can't make a baby on my own LOL.

I think guys get stressed out too...I personally don't talk to my DH about fertile time or anything like that. I try to think of ways to spice it up w/out always talking about "making a baby" or I'm fertile lets get it on..lol

I totally agree! So I try to make it more interesting. But I'm also asking for S E X more often during my fertile week for obvious reasons and he feels like I'm using him... It just make me crazy cause initially it was his decision to start trying if the first place. But on the other hand he is waiting for a new job to start and we haven't sold our Co-Op yet and the holiday's are coming. So i think he is stressing out about it.

If it makes you feel any better my husband told me the other day that he feels like a dog and that he's being studded out.. I told him that he shouldn't feel that way b/c I am the only one that he's being studded out to...

They're such babies sometimes aren't they??
they want to live in their little fantasy world where they think babies just happen anytime because of their super magical sperm. They need us to bring them back down to reality!
seriously though.. if he feels like you're using him - ask him point blank how he thinks a baby is going to be made if you're not BD'ing during the fertile time. If he's willing to wait a lot longer for you to conceive because you're not BD'ing when you're supposed to, at least let him make that decision with the right info.
good luck

Re: 100% not on bord
yeah, i posted recently about something similar.
i had a long talk with him - and we are NOT a long talk kind of couple, his eyes usually just glaze over. . .but it was like he had an epiphany and realized that he needs to change and so far he has been very cooperative!
I never mention TTC to him when it comes time to BD - its just a fun happy coincidence that I want to on a Tuesday even after working all day and having a cold and the house is a mess . . . LOL

Guys LOVES s-e-x but..........baby making s-e-x is SO different from the just for fun variety. Trust me.......when it's "that time" and we need to TTC my DH is rolling his eyes after the 100th time. It's work, a lot of work. If you're not preggers in a few months you will see what I mean.

it IS a lot of work! and i am EXHAUSTED!!!
I also always have to 'initiate'. I'm used to it now though. I just bust through the door and command him to drop his pants.

Re: 100% not on bord
My Dh has not initiated sex in months. I am always initiating, not just during the fertile time either lol. I think he's finally getting a taste of the "i wish my wife wanted sex all the time" fantasy and its not all its cracked up to be!

Re: 100% not on bord
actually my DH felt the same but not in so many words. He said he felt like we were taking a beautiful thing (making love) and "forcing" it. Guys like sex but I think with DH/SO's it's very different because we have such a connection with them, KWIM?
