10 month old waking up at 3:00 AM!
HELP!
My DD has been sleeping great in her crib since around 6 months or so when we did CIO. For the last 2 weeks she has been waking up screaming around 3 or 4 AM. I have tried giving her motrin as she is teething quite a bit. I have also gotten her right away and then tried letting her cry for at least 20 minutes. If I let her cry she is almost inconsolable when I do get her. If I get her right away it can take 45 mins to get her back to sleep.
Any other suggestions? I feel like I have a newborn again and I realllly miss sleep :)
TIA!

ours went through a period of MOTN wakeups. All I can say is that if your LO is generally a good sleeper, this is likely just a phase. It probably feels like its never going to end. Just try not to make anything interactive when/if you go in.

My twins are now 21 months but for a good while they also did this. I am not sure why is happens but after they turned one, and I knew they were ok...just let them cry it out.

My ds did this too .. And I noticed when I gave him a little bit more to eat during dinner it helped.... So i figured he wasn't eating enough during the day...Unless it was coincidental and just a phase. Hth

Re: 10 month old waking up at 3:00 AM!
My dd is 15 months and finally back to sleeping through the night in her crib. Knock on wood it stays this way. She recently just weaned bfing and for us I think she would wake and need the comfort of nursing to fall back asleep- she was sleeping well for several months and got sick then molars and then sick and she was back to square one with screaming in the nigh.
It passes! It feels hellish but it comes in phases and passes eventuall
Eta: around that time they start to get more aware that u are "gone" and separation anxiety also becomes an issue. I never could really let her cry it out and would let her cuddle and sleep with us if necessary. Everyone got more sleep that way.
I also agree that maybe a snack before bed or more formula or BM may help since they do through so many growth spurts the first year that baby may be hungry
