I reuse depending on what has been in it...
But, if I had something stinky in it or if it gets stained..I dump it!
My mil and mom both wash plastic cups...
They also use cream cheese or butter (plastic containers) as tupperware..that drives me nuts...

Whats the point of buying plastic cups then why not just use glasses?
Like I buy plastic cups and paper plates because we dont have a dishwasher.

i don't re-use them. unless there was something in there for a short time and it was dry, etc.
