Congratulations!!
After my sister's C-section, the nurses gave her warm apple juice and ginger ale for the gas and she still swears by it.
Hope you have a quick recovery.

Yes moving around helps with a csection. I learned to use the rails of the bed to pull myself up and to adjust myself so I didn't use my ab muscles (or lack there of). DEF walking will help but at the same time don't over do anything. I found taking Gas-X and Colice helped TREMENDOUSLY! I started the second I got into a room and I took it for 2 days until I felt regular again. I ended up not having a problem.
