Last 2 years DD#1 had 20 kids in her class and everyone pretty much had a party so. Each year we went to at least 12-16 parties. This year we have only been toa few. Based on what others said they gave the birthday child (and what my girls have both received) I would say low end $20, average $25-30, with good friends in the $30-50 range. Honestly it seems like a lot of things are $12-14, $19, 24, or 29. Sometimes I will give 2 $12 gifts or spend about $25.

I try to get things on sale, but I spend about 20-25 (even if the gift was originally more).
