I am trying to think of toys at 2 years old
Pretty sure he was starting to get into dinosaurs. But now that I think of it he was big time into sesame street. They have a great DVD called kids favorite songs. He loved/loves it!!!! Also, sesame does karaoke.
ETA: I think Diego is big now too

i like the diego idea... diego isn't too "old" for a two-year-old?

My son is 2 1/2 and he is really into dinosaurs, trains, cars and trucks. We don't watch Diego so he's really not into that but I'm sure a lot of little boys are.

you cant go wrong w/ shake & go cars, car race tracks,
anything Thomas or Diego,
my 2 year old son LOVES his big wheel, a mini-razor scooter (the one w/3 wheels-look on the target or toys r us website-they have the cute red fire-engine scooters also!)
sand & water table, big trucks that make noise....

My DS is 2yr8mo and loves tee-ball- Played w/ this at my friends house for over 2 hours (made by Fisher Price, pops the balls up to you, or you can hit them off the tee)

Any type of car, truck, train, plane or other vehicle. water table, sand box, art supplies, books.
