I've heard about men and laptops--the heat they give off lowers sperm count--but I haven't heard anything about women.

I do this too. Perfectly healthy baby boy, so I don't think its that bad, but I really don't think its good either.
When I was pregnant I would put a pillow on my lap if I needed to lay down with my laptop so I didn't get my stomach hot.
And not a stupid question, I'm sure tons of girls have wondered this! I know I did!

I don't think it's dumb at all. I rode the train home from work yesterday and was concerned about how bumpy the ride is and worried that it could interfere with successfu implantation  Then again I am a serious "what -ifer"
Unfortunately though I can't offer an educated response to your question - just wanted you to know your not the only one with silly thoughts
