All in the same day, DH and I, his mom and then my parents came to look at it. DH had the keys (he's a broker), so we got to linger for a long time.
We did want opinions other than ours so we asked them to come by.

dh and i saw the house on our own and decided to buy it on our own. had my parents been in the country at the time, i absolutely would want their opinion.... but since they werent there, i had to do without their opinion

when we do buy- I will proabably go on my own- then bring my hubby and maybe my Dad
but - my dad used to be a real estate broker- so his opinion would be more from his experince then my Dad

they asked to see it- so we showed them
fortunately on one house that we bid on- they noticed something that we did not, and we pulled out of the deal
honestly though- as much as i love getting advice and hearing comments- part of me wishes they would let me make my own mistakes and trust my judgement
i may sound immature but i would have learned to live with the issues on the other house and probably would have been just as happy
anyway, everyone came to see it
