Try looking on Web MD. If they are getting larger you need to have them removed and checked!! I don't mean to alarm you but you never know. Good Luck.

Sometimes they can be drained rather than removed surgicallly. Check with your dermatologist.

I had one on my cheek a long time ago, and that was drained. Treatment may vary, but if the one on your head could be drained, I doubt your hair would need to be removed.
Definitely get it checked out.

Mt Dh had one removed on his head. They run in his family. It left a very little bald spot that grew in pretty fast. He said it wasn't very painful at all. HTH
