does anyone have this

car seat?
I have ben looking all over for one that goes up to 65 pounds with a harness and the only one I found in a store was HUGE and $$$$$.

This one looks nice. Its a safety first apex car seat.

If you have it how do you like it? How big is it?

Its on sale with free shipping on Amazon but I am worried about buying it sight unseen.

I dont have it but I was reading the reviews on this one last week b/c that Britax really is damn huge. The negatives I saw were that the padding is thin and the buckle at the crotch is a weird shape that some parents were saying their kids complained about pinching them. The padding was less of an issue to me than the pinching. I was going to try to see it in person and even have my son sit in it. Maybe you can go to BRU first and try it out on him?

I dont have it, but did you try BBB for it? I was on there site and saw a lot of those carseats on it.

The Regent is HUGE!! Only BBB sells it. I went to buy it for my DS about a month before all this video syuff came out. It was way to big for the captains seat in my Minivan. I bought the Marathon by Britax instead. It goes up to 65lbs. and has the 5 point harness. If your looking for a cheaper alternative BRU also cares the Fisher Price Safe Voyage car seat. It is made for FP by Britax. My mom bought this one for her car because my kids aren't with her that often that spending $269.00 on the marathon was crazy for her. This one goes up to 55lbs. I have had my DS in a Britax seat cince he grew out of the baby carrier seat and now my DD is in it. We have never had a problem with pinching. Britax had a pad that cover that area so they can't get piched by the buckle. Hope this is helpful.

Sorry, I thought you were talking about pinching with the Britax. If you want you can buy the pad I was talking about on the Britax website for this car sewat. The padding is the shape of a circle with a slit cut through the middle that the buckle can fit through to protect that area.

I don't have that seat since I have 2 Marathons but I read somewhere that one of those seats needs the car headrest for it to work properly. That right there would make me think 2x about getting that seat (if it was that particular seat)
