Milk supply
Since Connor has been sleeping 6-8 hours at night and I'm obviously not nursing him throughout the night will this mess up my milk supply? In the morning I'm definitely ready to feed him though! (ouch)

Re: Milk supply
If it were me, I would pump before I go to bed to keep my supply up.

Re: Milk supply
That's what I've been doing, I was just worried about all those hours in between would hurt it, because it's still a good 7-8 hours.

Re: Milk supply
It should be fine so long as you're emptying them in the morning. As long as you're taking what is there your body will keep producing it. So I would definitely pump in the morning after you feed him if he doesn't completely empty both sides. I used to pump another 4 oz after Ellie was done nursing in them morning b/c she slept through the night.

Re: Milk supply
Your body adjusts to your baby's eating habits. When DD started sleeping through the night I used to wake up so engorged in the beginning but now I'm ok for 7-8hr stretches and I still produce plenty of milk during the day.
