what is luteal phase?
I googled and it told me that it was the 2nd half of your period but I'm still not sure how I am supposed to figure out how long my "luteal phase" is?

Your luteal phase is the time period after ovulation and before AF. This is when your body is preparing for a pregnancy. Most luteal phases are 12 -15 days. If your LP is much shorter than that you may want to talk to your Dr. as this means your body is not getting enough time to prepare for the pregnancy and if you were to get a fertilized egg it may not stick.
