anyone elses DH totally not helpful?
he is driving me nuts...
i wish he was more supportive... i have been sick with one ailment or another this entire pregnancy so far... and he just doesnt give me the support i need.... still expecting me to be my usual self wether it's cooking, cleaning, laundry, sex.... sometimes i just dont feel like doing anything... and i feel like crying when he doesnt understand why? or offer to do things around the house himself....
part of me doesnt want to do this again becuase its been soo hard for me... and the way he acts makes me not want to even more....

Time for a talk -- having a newborn is going to be even harder and you are going to need his help!

I am so sorry he is being that way. Was he domestic at all before pregnancy?

I have the same problem...mine is oblivious at times and doesn't do anything really around the house.

Re: anyone elses DH totally not helpful?
Mine has been like this the whole time and I am 27 weeks. He told me some lame excuse that he wouldn't married me if he didn't think I was self sufficient. He actually tried to turn it on me and say he was happy I haven't tried to play the "pregnancy card" because he thinks I am above that.
While I may not like it when women use pregnancy as an excuse to not do anything, I think I need to be cut some slack every once in a while and shown some support.
Hugs to you, as I know what you are going through.

Re: anyone elses DH totally not helpful?
oh my.....mine was useless while PG. I had to beg and plead to get some help.....
fast forward to about when the baby was born.....it slowly improved....
he'd feed her, let me sleep sometimes, and now.....he's the one that will initiate a cleaning frenzy in the house!
HE is so amazing with her and around the house despite working long hard retail hours.
