I feel so bad
a girl in the next dept from me is 1 week earlier then I am and they did absolutely nothing for her...not even a cake. How horrible is that. Meanwhile mine was yesterday and I would have loved fo her to be there bc we are friends but thought it would be too touchy of a situation. I cant do it for her either bc I would be jumping over her depts head. I dont get how people dont think...

could you talk to the department heads? or hint on it?
They may be too busy to think about it. Also you can offer to do it for her if they don't have time. I don't see how they can say no to that!
