Etiquette question...

2 old co-workers and I have been reunited on myspace...

One girl I have seen a few times previously to her having her daughter(who is 3 days older than RJ)

the other I havent seen in years, she just had a baby a month ago....

None of us have seen eachothers children and are all getting together for a playdate tomorrow....

Im wondering if I should get the new baby a gift since its the 1st time Im seeing her- BUT its my 1st time seeing both children- as well as them seeing my child...

Hope this dosent sound to confusing...

Re: Etiquette question...

I would probably get them both a 'little' something

I think it's very sweet but unnecessary.

Take your camera & take some photos. I'm sure they'd appreciate your talent.

I just dont wanna be the one who shows up w/o a gift.... therefore I wanted to make sure it wasnt the "proper" thing to do- and that way I can assume the wont be bringing anything either...

I def. will bring my camera though- good thinking!

Re: Etiquette question...

Personally, I wouldn't. If you are just reunited, you weren't that close to begin with. IMHO.

Re: Etiquette question...

How about a little Christmas ornament for each of them.

I would definitely get them both something, not just the newborn.
