what could this be (TMI)
hi ladies, reg. poster on lif but under a anonymous name. Not ttcing but i know that you ladies on this board know alot about cycles so I decided to post here and ask for your input.
got AF this morning as expected then all the sudden this evening - very very heavy bleeding. Soaked through a ultra tampon extremely fast and continued to gush (sorry i warned you, tmi!  )
Thiis has never happened before...what could this be? Just an unusually heavy period? Any reason to be concerned? Should I call my Dr tomorrow?

I would definitely call the doctor right away. I would be concerned. I would not take the heavy bleeding lightly. Good luck!!!

Def. call your doctor. I could be several things, but it is best to know for sure what is going on.  Fell better and good luck

I agree-the trule of thumb is if you are soaking a pad or super tampon in an hour you should go to the Dr. Could be a cyst or something-GL!
