How did you find Mommy and Me classes?
Is there a web site or something?
Also, Stroller-size groups.
I live in NJ so joining one of yours is not really an option!

I am going to say check with your local churches. Most of the babygroups that I go to are run at local churches

where in nj are you? i'm in nj too. over the summer we went to gymboree and now we're going to music together, which brendan LOVES! they have a babies class that we're in. i also go to stroller strides in princeton, but there are stroller strides classes in a lot of different areas of nj. stroller strides

I am in West Orange. It doen't look like there is a stroller stride class in my area.  That is really what I wanted to do!

there are so many ways to find mommy groups.
momsclub.org - click on CHAPTER LINKS and look for your area, MANY areas dont have a website so it wont be listed, you can contact the international headquarters to find out.
this is a local group of moms that has a calendar of things to do, like a "mommy sorority" and kids are welcome everywhere of course. annual charity things, luncheons, etc. fees are usually like $25 per yr.

my friend recently found a group in jersey through this here. not sure about it.
or if youre looking to meet moms online and then go from there. yahoo.com
click on GROUPS, and type in "bergen county moms" or "mommies new jersey" etc etc etc. with your town/area. you need a yahoo ID to join these groups, and its free.

theres soooo many ways to meet mommmies and kiiddies,

for those in NJ- I would highly recommend the MOMS club. I love it! everyone seems very down-to-earth and eager to meet other moms, not snobby as other groups can be.
other things I've come across (some are a bit pricey):
