MY doctor said to wait until Ali was at least 2 since we have a history of food allergies in the family

I gave it to my son starting around 20 months.... His pedi wanted us to wait until after he was 2 for allergy reasons, but since there are no food allergies in either of our families, we decided to give it to him.

Same here. Then I found out Grandma feed them peanut butter at 19 months old.

Probably around 18 months - we actually gave him french fris that were cooked in peanut oil and he was fine. I started giving him peanut butter sandwich ever since and never had a problem.

I gave jacob a taste of it a few times in the past month. He is 10 months. The dr said its fine, just no peanuts due to choking. He loves it!

I have always read not until they are two so planned on following that. But my brother's ped said it was fine at a year since he had his daughter/family has no food allergies. SO I called my ped and asked and they said I can give it to him since he has no other food allergies only lactose intolerant (that was at 17 months). But I still haven't gotten aroudn to giving it to him but plan on soon so I have a new lunch item...I am running out of ideas and he seems bored lately!

Oopsie, Christopher just had his first pb&j sandwich today. I didn't realize you had to wait until 2 years. Well, no peanut allergies on either side, so I think we'll be okay.
