If you are hiring an off-site tour guide they are cheating the system and telling Disney that they have a disability. The only legitimate way to bypass the line with a tour guide is to book directly through Disney. Or to have a condition that allows you to get a DAS pass. Actually that is why their disability system and process changed, because too many people were cheating the system, namely these VIP tour groups in the Orlando area. . https://myfivestartour.com/- this was recommended
I'm sure it was but it's not legitimate. Meaning they are either lying that they have a disability or signing you up for the disability pass. There is no way to bypass the line unless you hire a tour guide directly through Disney. . I’ve read the reviews and that doesn’t seem to be the case at all, but I’m not an expert. They seem legitimate. You are telling me they’ve run a successful business for years that’s featured all over different media outlets with stellar reviews all by lying about a disability pass ? That doesn’t pass my smell test. They also do things aside from Disney.
Yep, that's what all these companies did before Disney changed they system. So while I don't know exactly that's what they are doing, I can tell you that Disney does not give any third party entity access to skipping the lines. Including outside tour groups. That goes directly against selling their own product of VIP Tour Groups. Just like they don't allow photographers to conduct business in their parks. You can call them directly and ask them. I'm pretty well-versed in Disney, as well as the disability pass since my son has autism. And if the tour company is giving you skip the line access, they are utilizing a system not intended for them.
I don't know anything about the disability access but I smell a big fat rat with this place.
All of their tripadvisor reviews except 2 (187) are "excellent" and it seems like almost all the reviewers have only one tripadvisor post. They also have a similar voice.
Disney is way too proprietary to give any third party access to touring perks. . Their Google reviews are also excellent and clearly written by different people. You can’t fake that on Google. They aren’t the only ones who do this. There are plenty of independent concierges who Perform the same service. Why didn’t Disney shut them down ?
Do what you will. If you want to book one of those Services go for it. But don't be surprised when it doesn't turn out the way you hope. Especially considering the only way to get a VIP tour that allows you access to the rides without waiting, inside of Disney, is from Disney directly. Like I have stated over and over. Go over and join the disboards for further info. I've been a member there for 20 years, they will reiterate what has been said here. I’m confused because I’ve heard different My just friend used them and said she had dramatically shorter wait times. No more than 10 minutes tops anywhere. Cost her $1000 a day so it doesn’t come cheap, but short wait times justifies it.
Chances are they charged her $1000 and got a disability pass. Or charged her $1000 and used the paid lightening lane you can do yourself. Again, Disney doesn't offer a VIP service for outside entities. They have no pull in getting you to the front of the line at Disney. Regardless of what you pay. You can book directly through Disney for as low as $425 an hour. But I digress. Enjoy your trip.
What cost $425 at Disney as the disability pass is free?
VIP Tours booked through Disney start at $425 per hour.

Yup, it starts at 425. And quite a few people seem to book the VIP tour, because we see them often in the Parks. Anyone you see being escorted by someone in a plaid uniform is on a VIP tour. You go through private security, you get private transportation from park to park, you are escorted to the front of the line. Oftentimes they give you bottled water, snacks, ice cream, Poncho's if it rains. It's definitely an expensive experience. I know quite a few people who have pooled together and shared the cost. Definitely a splurge!

So basically people are paying what disabled people should be getting and not just regular people who don’t want to stand on a long line? What is the difference then a private company doing the same thing? Both are basically “lying” to get to the front of the line.

The private companies all explicitly say on their website that they are not using the disability pass to bypass lines. Are they blatantly lying ? After reading this thread , I took to social media to see other people’s experiences. Many moms mentioned having excellent experiences with with World class vip tours and Orlando vip , which comports with my friends experience. Very odd.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Disney has always offered VIP tours in the park. It's not a disabled service. This is a premium service offered by Disney. The disabled service is a little more involved than just skipping to the front of the line. And is free for persons with certain disabilities. No one is lying when booking a VIP service directly through Disney. Sorry you are confused how it works.
And the difference between this and an outside entity offering it, is the only way an outside entity could be offering this was by abusing the disability pass System. Since Disney does not Grant access to VIP tours run by outside companies that allow you to bypass the line.

So basically people are paying what disabled people should be getting and not just regular people who don’t want to stand on a long line? What is the difference then a private company doing the same thing? Both are basically “lying” to get to the front of the line.
This is why I will NEVER go back to Disney. When we went many many years ago, we had the guest assistance pass, and it let my son go right to the fast pass lane. It was a lifesaver. Then they took it away because people were hiring people with disabilities to join them so they can cut the line. This is disgusting. Now you have to come get a time and come back. No thank you. I will pass.

Wow. They should be performing life saving neurosurgery at that rate. It's mind blowing what people will spend on an amusement park.
Actually I just looked and it is $425-$850, depending on the time of year, crazy.
I know years ago if you were in a wheelchair or scooter, you and your entire family bypassed the lines. My MIL could not walk and the entire family was able to do so. Not sure if it has changed since then but you don't familiar with either the Disney one or the outside one but you are telling this person that the outside one is basically lying but the Disney one, where you pay to get to the front also is not the same.

I think what she is saying is that the Disney one is an approved one- a service Disney offers for a hefty fee to get to the front of the line. Pay to play. Nothing to do with having a disability. Just pay the fee, cut the line. The outside ones according to her, are getting you to the front of the line by abusing the disability pass system somehow.

Which she is not 100% sure about and it seems both are services are there to cut the line. Sorry, but NONE should offer this for any amount of money. We have become a world of no patience and wanting more than others and doing anything to get it.

What am I not 100% sure about? I'm 100% sure that Disney doesn't allow a 3rd party business to cut the lines at Disney. Disney offers a paid service. If you can afford it, great! If you can't, who cares?
It's no different than many of the other perks people can get for paying $$$$ in life. Heck, my sister and her family pay an obscene amount of money to skip the line at Hershey with their fasatpass type system they offer. Also no different than the cruise line offering "The Key" to skip the embarkation line, and the lines on certain attractions on the boat, and being first off at a port. Who cares, really? I don't care what people do with their money. But, this is a Disney post, she asked, we've explained. And that's that. No need to go back and forth anymore about it though

Wow. They should be performing life saving neurosurgery at that rate. It's mind blowing what people will spend on an amusement park.
Actually I just looked and it is $425-$850, depending on the time of year, crazy.

Or like I pay for early bird boarding on Southwest because it's like a cattle call to get on the plane and I want to make sure I get seats together with my family. (But then 400 people in wheelchairs still board before anyone and then when they get to the destination they run off the plane with no need for a wheelchair at all! )

Oh I get paying for extra services if you have the money but my point is that many just are so spoiled now. No one wants to wait and always in a rush.
Well, in theory they aren't allowed to do that. That is why these companies are typically abusing the system and obtaining a disability pass, which is good for 60 days and up to six individuals typically with your party. So Joe Blow who lives in Orlando obtains a disability pass. Then when he brings his paying clients he just adds them to the pass with him. I have read that Disney has revoked season passes of individuals that we're doing just that. But I'm sure there are lots that fall through the cracks.
I hear you on that, but, when you pay a lot of money to go to Disney and then you're not able to ride anything because the lines are so long I think that's what draws people into the VIP tour. I actually think those were initially created by Disney for celebrities, but Disney realized that they could cash in from the general public who are willing to pay that price also. When we are at Disney and we see a cast member in a plaid outfit we are always looking to see who the celebrity is that they might be with. Then we realize they are just a normal family who has paid an extraordinary amount of money for that service. To each their own I guess!

No need to go back and forth any more about it though
Or like I pay for early bird boarding on Southwest because it's like a cattle call to get on the plane and I want to make sure I get seats together with my family. (But then 400 people in wheelchairs still board before anyone and then when they get to the destination they run off the plane with no need for a wheelchair at all! )
Ha! Yes!!

Wow. They should be performing life saving neurosurgery at that rate. It's mind blowing what people will spend on an amusement park.
Actually I just looked and it is $425-$850, depending on the time of year, crazy.
I know years ago if you were in a wheelchair or scooter, you and your entire family bypassed the lines. My MIL could not walk and the entire family was able to do so. I wonder why these places are still allowed to do that then. You would think Disney would stop it.
Yeah, I guess the rest of us just lose out then. That is why we always had to plan our vacations to Disney when it was less crowded to take advantage of it all.

So funny as we all usually board at the same time but my oldest has not sit with us in years lol. They like to sit elsewhere so it wouldn't matter if we paid to get on earlier or not.
