Inventing Anna
was awesome- Julia Garner did an amazing job- I was so sad to have it end.
I totally recommend - it's on Netflix

Inventing Anna
I tried watching it but it was too cheesy for me. I wish they had done it from the point of view of Anna instead of the reporter - I didn't really care what was going on in the reporter's life.

I keep trying to watch this but fall asleep every night lol. I think they could have told the same story in 3 episodes, versus 9 (or however long it is).

I agree! I liked it but found some of the extra stories they told in each episode made it a bot too long.
Really interesting story though.
She should hook up with the Tinder Swindler.

I am almost done with it. It is so fascinating! Regardless of what she did, this girl is super smart. I think its super interesting she was buddies with the guy from the Fyre Festival and Martin SK.... whatever his name is that ripped everyone off for epi-pens. Birds of a feather...

I haven't watched it all, her accent grates on my nerves though. I did look her up on IG and she doesn't seem very remorseful and moreso proud of what she did

Supposedly HBO will be making a series about this too but from Rachel’s point of view, the friend that got charged that huge bill from Morocco.

She's trying to get it appealed though. It will be interesting to see if she does anything good and brilliant with the money she has received from all of these deals. Seeing the story from her point of view would be very interesting.
One thing I was confused about....did she make up the part about the alcoholic father to the psychiatrist or was that actually true? It seemed to be true but then the parents seemed very normal so I am not sure.
