Another Twitter suspension agree or disagree?
Do you agree with Twitter suspending an account for this particular tweet?
“On Tuesday, President-elect Joe Biden announced that he had chosen Dr. Rachel Levine to serve as Assistant Secretary for Health at the Department of HHS. Dr. Levine is a transgender woman, that is, a man who believes he is a woman.”
I understand they have other questionable tweets. But I don’t think this is a tweet worth suspending an account.

There's no context to give an opinion on, especially when you stated "I understand they have other questionable tweets"
If that was the only questionable tweet, I could see Twitter sending them a warning or something, or not do anything. If they spent the last year ranting about how they want to kill trans people, that's a whole different context.

I guess it depends who tweeted it out.
But I would say yes. Anyone can read between those lines. My mentality is Do better. That type of uneducated nonsense shouldn’t be tolerated. We saw already what happens when ignorance spreads.

I agree with GoldenRod. We need to know the context. This tweet alone, I do not think it is warranted but it really depends on what was said prior.

I doubt they suspended anyone over a single tweet. My guess is this is a person with a history of questionable or inappropriate tweets.

It needs more context. I see it’s from a Christian based account.
That being said, Twitter is a private company and they can do what they like within reason. It isn’t censorship.

Not only that, but the danger of perpetuating this myth costs transgendered people their lives.

Absolutely. It's definitely a statement that shouldn't be thought, and definitely not said.
And for the most part, it shouldn't ever need to be a part of a story.
