Back from my 1st OB appointment!!
Well, no ultrasound, but we did get to hear the heartbeat.
It took her a REALLY long time to find it, so I was totally freaked out, but then there it was!!
160 bmp!! 
I go back in 2 weeks for the NT and they gave me some kind of kit that I prick my finger and mail in the sample to the office. 
I never heard of that before???
But I loved my doctor and she spent LOADS of time with us. I blanked when she asked if we had any questions. I felt like I had a million and then I got in there and couldn't remember any!! 
And she said to make sure I get a flu shot if possible.
Thanks for all the well wishes. I feel so relieved!!

Nice to hear that sound, isn't it!
I did the take home finger prick kit. If you have trouble doing it at home, they'll do it for you in the office the day of the Ultrascreen. If you do it at home and send in the package before the screen, you'll get your results while your there. Otherwise, you have to wait about a week after the screen.

They did the finger prick at my Level I ultrasound at 12 weeks..
I'm so glad you heard the heartbeat!!
