Automatic doors on Toyota minivan

Has anyone had problems with their doors? Mine is only 3 years old but I’ve been having problems with both sides. They open perfectly every time but they don’t always close. They will close halfway and then open again. Sometimes one door will open and then close on its own when I’m trying to buckle car seats. Anyway, Im hoping to figure out the problem before taking it to Toyota and getting a huge bill! So if you’ve had this problem what was it?!

ETA: I just looked it up and the doors are only covered under the 3yr/36,000 which ever comes first warranty. I’m passed that for a while now.

I have the 2017 Sienna.. the only time this has happened so far on ours is if the sensor realizes something is in the way , so it’ll reopen the door as it’s closing. Maybe the sensor thinks something is in the way so the door won’t close? I’m not sure otherwise.

Thanks! Mines a 2015. I found something on Toyota’s website saying the door sensors might be covered for 9 years for certain models. I feel like it’s the sensors too. I read some people had to fight for it though. Ugh
