good luck to all who hate family gatherings...
going over to a thanksgiving dinner with 20 other adults today and dreading every second. I have such a love/hate relationship with the holidays lol- LOVE the food, christmas movies, etc. etc., but absolutely hate the large gatherings ughhhhhhh
ETA: nervousnell if you see this, I'm popping the entire CBD gummy jar today

Then I read your ETA. 
Down those gummies! And booze. Lots of booze makes it more tolerable.
Luckily it's just my parents today and we are going to a restaurant! But i feel your pain! I hateeeeee large gatherings.

I wish I could dread family gatherings today. I’m sitting home and the only turkey I had was a turkey sandwich.
Thanksgiving is not celebrated here, but I miss it so much. I haven’t had one in over 15 years.

happy Thanksgiving. You should do a friends giving. I bet your friends would love it if you made Thanksgiving in Germany for them. It could be your new tradition.

I have done that a few times, but only with boneless turkey breast. It’s quite expensive and difficult to get a whole turkey. It’s just a lot of work and money. I did go to a real Friendsgiving a few years ago and it was wonderful. This year it’s just not possible for me because of my work and money.
