What do you use to edit your photos?
I'm not talking about editing simply.
I used to use Picasa (which was my absolute FAVORITE!!!! for so much) and I also used Photoshp on those select pictures that needed more.
But now picasa is defunct and I can't find Photoshop anymore.
I want to buy a program but not at $200!
What is everyone using?

Re: Photography people
GIMP. It does about 75% of what Photoshop does, but it's totally free.

You know ... you have suggested gimp for years. I think it's time for me to try it.

I usually tell people it's free, so if you absolutely hate it, you're only out a bit of time. I've been using it for a long time, and while I'm not a full-on Photoshopper, GIMP has allowed me to do everything I wanted to do. DS is using GIMP to do a lot of editing as well. He's going towards graphic arts as either a hobby or a career. He uses Photoshop at school, and GIMP at home, and there are things he likes in both of them. There are some features he likes better in GIMP, actually.

Re: Photography people
Back in the day when I had time to edit photos (ie pre-kids) I used photoshop elements. Much cheaper than photoshop and it has the basics. It’s still widely available and should be less than $100

I use Lightroom
Picasa is still functioning, I have it on my computer. I don't think it does nearly as much as Lightroom, etc. does. It's very basic

It does function but I got a new laptop and can't get it anymore. I loved it for most of my editing.
