But the coordination here makes it seem like it's beyond just one crazy person. I guess I just can't wrap my head around how this happens. I just hope forever it was is caught quickly.

Whoever it was isn't very smart. Did they really think the Obamas & Clintons are sitting there opening their own packages? Thank God that nutballs that do things like this completely lack common sense. I'm sure they'll figure out who did it in no time.

It looks open on the end where the thing is sticking out, so maybe the other half was torn off already?

The labeling and typos would definitely flag it as off. As for what was inside, it would look and feel very similar to things like bike parts and pipes dh gets in the mail all the time.

I’m glad they caught this lunatic so quickly. Also glad that he did a ****** job making them. So many postal workers and mailroom clerks could have been killed if he actually knew what he was doing.
