when braxton hicks begin...
does that mean u are closer to birth then u thought? I am 6 weeks away and I am thinking the baby could be here earlier.

I dont think it means the baby is coming earlier but your body is getting ready
With my first 2 children I got them early and they were both late

I don't think so. I got them definitely before 30 weeks and didn't deliver until 40+ weeks. Like previous poster said, it's your body practicing.

My body has been practicing since 30 weeks. I wish it meant she'd be here early, but I don't think it has anything to do with the actual arrival date

This morning I felt severe AF cramps and then stabbing in my back I was like WHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOAAAAAAA!
thought the baby was coming...LOL

BH don't last as long or come in any kind of a pattern- they're just random small contractions. Everyone tells me that you will know the difference when the real ones come.

I just started getting braxton hicks and at first I thought that he may come early but then I hear that these contractions can last for a long time
