Potty training success, finally!
A few months ago I posted about my frustration about my DD refusing to potty train. She turned 3 in June. Well the other day we decided to try again and she actually went, so we went with it and now it has been going great! And she has been actually asking to go now. I know many people said when she's ready it will be much easier, and I have to say thanks because you were all right! It's great that I don't have to do a potty training bootcamp for 3 days holed out in the bathroom LOL.

Great news!
That's exactly how it happened for us too. Same with getting rid of the bottle, binky, etc. I truly believe that when they are ready to hit milestones like this they will do them.... with no stress. Forcing it before they are ready only leads to heartache, imo.

Potty training success, finally!
Reminds me of my niece. My sister tried to potty train her, with no success. So, she put the diaper back on and gave up on it. But, every morning, she'd ask "Wanna go to the potty?" The answer was always "No.". But, one day it was "Yes". And that was it! She started using the bathroom!

thats great, Jill will be 3 in Jan and Im so anxious to get her out of diapers before #3 arrives in April.... it was so easy with Hailey. I figured it would be easy for her too, she has a hard time pooping so i think thats part of the problem

Congrats! I wouldn't stress it- like the other moms told me on here, when she is ready she will go and that is exactly what my DD did. And each child I am sure is different. I had a totally different potty training experience with DD from my first because my first has special needs so we pretty much had to time train him.
