Moms of Christmas babies...
What do you do for their birthdays? Our little one is only going to be 2 on Dec 23rd but I feel like he will always get screwed lol. We aren’t into big parties (yet, anyway) but just curious what other parents do for their holiday babies.

Moms of Christmas babies...
DD is mid December. We have birthday parties for her, no different than if her birthday was in any other month.
If you’re concerned about people coming, I had 25 kids at her birthday party last year (she turned 2). So the holidays deterred no one!

Our dds are dec 18 and dec 30. We did have some conflicts with people’s holiday obligations for parties for our dd1s bday on 12/18 and started celebrating dd1s birthday the first weekend in January. That helped. You just get a lot of regifted unwanted Xmas toys as gifts lol! We take her to see the nutcracker for her bday as a special gift. We make sure their bday presents are in bday paper and not Xmas paper (a pet peeve of mine, I’m dec. 8). Grandparents come over on their actual bday for a party.

My kids are right after Christmas in early January, we had a party like we would any other time and will continue to do so!

Moms of Christmas babies...
DS 1s Birthday is 12/21. We celebrate him on his birthday and make it a special day. When we throw big parties we usually do it on the first Sunday in January (and everyone responds yes).
We usually celebrate with my family the week afterwards as well as my cousins daughter is born in early January.
He loves it because he’s spoiled rotten for a couple of months.

Ds is dec 28. We have immediate family over for pizza and cake. He is 6 and only had one friends birthday party and we did that in mid January

DS1’s birthday is mid December. We celebrate Christmas and Chanukah so he gets way too many presents that month. We have a party for him in early December with his friends.
