ENT for adenoids
For anyone that took their child to check for enlarged adenoids what did the doctor do exactly? Did they stick anything up your child’s nose or in their mouth? I’m just trying to prepare my son for when we go next week. Thanks!

Yes, they use the scope to go up the nostrils

My daughter had the scope when she was a baby so she obviously cried. Then, I had it done last year and it's honestly not fun, but it doesn't take too long.
I personally would not tell your son about it because the anticipation of it will be worse.

4 yr old DS just had it done. He was so good with it. He sat still the whole time and let the doctor do both sides. He sneezed once in between. It wasn't a big deal at all. The doctor made him very comfortable and told DS he was looking for dinosaur eggs lmao.
