Apple Music vs. Spotify vs. Pandora

Does anyone use any of these, and which do you prefer? Since i'm an Apple person, i'm leaning towards Apple music, but i just don't fully understand how these streaming services work. For one thing, if I'm not connected to the internet, i'd be using cellular data on my phone? (Though, this would mostly be for use at the gym, and my phone is connected to wifi there, fortunately.) If you have a paid subscription to any of these, are there still ads? And am I correct that you can download songs from Apple Music onto your device? Any info would be appreciated!

I use Spotify. It’s about 10$ (I use a different currency, so maybe someone can correct me) a month. You can download a playlist or albums on your wi-fi, so no reason to use up data. You just have to plan ahead.

I don't know anything about Apple Music.

Spotify - I like that I can play whatever I want without it being random (paid subscription) - including an entire album. If not paid, it's random and you get ads. You can star songs and just play what you've starred, but it's random. One dislike I have is that the sound is the way it's mixed. If you listen with both earbuds, it's ok, but if you listen with just one ear bud, some older songs are mixed in a way that only certain sounds are on left or right and you miss large chunks of the song.

Pandora - I don't know about mobile or subscription, but if you don't pay, the songs are random and you can only skip so many songs before you get an ad. The sound is mixed together so it's not the same issue with split mixing like Spotify.

I love Spotify. I've paid $9.99 for like.. two years for premium and I know now it's included for free with certain things (like a T-Mobile plan I think?). I love that I can hear entire albums from beginning to end, love making my own playlists, and love the random lists they have (relaxation, rainy day, songs to sing while driving, 90's list, etc.)

I use Spotify and I like it. You can make playlists and download them to be played offline so you don't always need to internet connection. Pretty certain Apple Music works the same way. You don't buy the song as you do with iTunes, but you have it on your phone while you have the subscription to the service. So if you cancel the service, those songs don't remain on your device.
If you're playing music you haven't downloaded, then you'd be using data on your phone.

There are no ads with paid subscriptions, and you're able to make a ton of playlists and edit them.

I use spotify. i pay for the premium version (no ads); with Tmobile if you use Spotify (and some other music services) it will not go against your data to stream music.

Someone on here told me that.

I do not use apple products so I cant speak to that.
