Ugh Pink Panther and downstairs music
The kids downstairs do piano lessons. They repeat the same songs over and over again for a few hours or so.
Today it’s the Pink Panther. I love the Pink Panther and use it as my ring tone. So every time I hear it, I’m wondering if I’m getting a phone call because my phone’s sound is messed up.
The father plays the accordion, but luckily the mother has sent him in the basement to play that (I’m on the second floor).
I don’t know how much Pink Panther I can take today anymore.

That would make me bonkers.
Maybe take up tap dancing ?
The people who live next door to me had their friends over for "church services" yesterday, complete with singing and preaching.
There went my nice quiet Sunday afternoon and evening.

The people who live next door to me had their friends over for "church services" yesterday, complete with singing and preaching.
There went my nice quiet Sunday afternoon and evening.
Ugh, I hate when Sundays are ruined.
I can do a bit of tap, but I haven’t done it in ages. But they complain if I make too much noise. I got a complaint because the door to the balcony was opened too much (it’s a complicated door). I got a complaint because my outdoor umbrella was banging against something (it was windy) and the father came up and told me (I couldn’t even hear it).
The best is when he complained about slamming doors. Meanwhile one of the kids was going through a major temper tantrum phase and slamming doors really, really hard. Like you could feel it in the whole house. Thank God that is done with. And I wasn’t slamming doors. I was closing them.
The father is so touchy with things. If there is a little bit of dirt on the driveway after I’ve thrown something out, I try my best to clean it. Then I see him out there power washing it. Then I was told that I shouldn’t open my windows in the winter because of heating. He’s a real busybody. I don’t want to make any waves.

Yes, which is really odd to have the landlord live in the same house in Germany.

machen = to make
so either way is correct, slightly different meanings.
Was kann man machen = what can one make of it
Was kann man tun = what can one do

machen = to make
so either way is correct, slightly different meanings.
Was kann man machen = what can one make of it
Was kann man tun = what can one do
Klar. I’ve always just said “Was kann man machen?”
I guess it’s just a fixed expression I’ve always used. Thank you for the clarification. I know the difference, but I always seem to use machen for everything.
