ugh, db neighbors and loud music
Our neighbor is playing loud music. I've heard enough of their ****** music this summer. Would you call the cops? I can't have windows open on a gorgeous day b/c their shit is filling up my house. Can't stand them. I wonder if I can look up rules on noise in my town?

During the day? Probably can't do anything. Even at night it's 11 in many towns.

Call your town hall and see what you need to officially report a noise disturbance. My town requires three dates and times of a repeat noise violation before they will send law enforcement out. My neighbor's son three houses down used to wash his car and turn up his music/bass so loud it would wake my baby -- you definitely have my sympathy!

We had new neighbors who would blast loud music late at night, after 11 pm. So I would go outside the next morning with my toddler and blast kiddie songs at 8am. I think they got the point.

that's great! They stopped after an hour. An hour isnt generally something I'd whine about but they are just inconsiderate overall. They have thrown old 2x4's over our retaining wall, stuck rusty solar stakes into my soil on my side of the yard & more. I'm sending my 2 sons out there with 10 of their friends loaded on sugar next time. Actually, I really need a fence.
