End end traffic this weekend
Do you think traffic to the Hampton’s will be bad on Sunday? I feel like whoever goes out east will already be there by Sunday and most will leave Monday? I want to take my kids to the east end museum Sunday since the weather forecast is eh

Once you get down to the 2 lane road, yes it will be bad just from local traffic trying to get around

It's always a toss up. If the weather is eh, then people are tooling around the towns.
But...if you want to go, go, traffic can always happen

Once you’re at this time of year traffic is always a risk when it’s nice out. I’d just go and commit to just dealing with it, if u wanna go.

There is always traffic on LI.
On a Wednesday in Nassau County, on the 3rd Tuesday of the month in mid Suffolk, and definitely on a holiday weekend out east. The island has become way too overbuilt and overpopulated. Unfortunately if you want to do things here you have to deal with horrific traffic.
Or like me, you turn your yard into a self contained compound and never go anywhere.

I think it will be rough. Summer rentals start this weekend so everyone will be out there and moving about...I'd still go, but just know you will most likely hit traffic.

Probably crappy. I was out there last weekend and my friends that drove said traffic was a PITA...on a rainy, windy weekend that wasn’t a holiday.

I agree with Nell. There is traffic all over from NYC to Suffolk County. I recently moved and went from a 37-mile commute to a 20-mile commute. It still takes me about 1 hour and 20 minutes to get home!
