"feel good wednesday" on a thursday!

let's share good things. thanks klingklang for starting this.

i am happy to share that:

* there has been a vacation policy change at work. starting june 1 (the beginning of the new fiscal year) everyone who has been here less than 5 years, will be bumped one week of vacation time. that means that i will have THREE WEEKS paid vacation!! taking a pay cut for this job just keeps paying off!!

* i have hired all but one vendor for SO's birthday party. tomorrow, i will officially hire the last. now, it's just making payments and a few simple DIY projects.

* my birthday is at the end of the month. i am SSSOOOOO looking forward to 45. i have a feeling it's going to be AMAZING.

**I am going to California today!! Can't wait to hang with family and try to conquer another big Spartan race.

**Tuesday I took an extra day off for a Spa day with my friend.

**Working from home a majority of next week and then my office is closed for a remodel the following week. 2 weeks of wfh!! Loving my new job!!

*I have a really nice class that I teach on Thursdays. They are so lovely! They are so keen to learn.

*My anxiety has calmed down a lot this week. I have not had any shaking all week *knock on wood* My appetite is also back in full force!

*My BF is here for the next month. Our one year anniversary is next week and I’m really excited to give him the Lovebook I ordered for him.

*I’ve had a few other problems this week, but I’m trying to remain positive.

*I got all my laundry, paperwork, and cleaning done. It was building up and now I feel I have it under control.

It’s the little things!

ETA: It’s a holiday (Pentecost) weekend here and I’m looking forward to some quiet. They have certain rules here and you can’t make too much noise on holidays. It’s like this every Sunday as well. Everything is closed. It’s so nice.
