Nassau County Board of Assessors
I filled out some paperwork and it says I need to return it to the Nassau County Board of Assessors. Has anyone dealt with this? I go on the website and there is in information on where they are located etc. Would like to be able to mail my paperwork in but not sure it works that way. Anyone do this before?

You can just walk in. Is it something you can mail?

Is it just for your tax grievance?

No it is a home renovation tax exemption form. Basically it helps the taxea go up gradually instead of all at once.

Re: Nassau County Board of Assessors
There's no need to personally file an exemption form - especially since you are far away from the deadline.
I would send it via certified mail return receipt requested. Keep a copy of the receipt proving they received it.
That's how we file them in our office
