Lice repellant?
There is a lice outbreak at DDs school. Anything I can put in her hair that repels them and I can find in a store? I read coconut oil but I want to pull out the big guns.
I put her hair in a high, tight pony today. She doesn’t have long enough hair for braids.

Re: Lice repellant?
I used to put tea tree oil in DDs hair and wash it with rosemary shampoo, I also would use hair spray.

Fairly Tales Lice Repellent Leave in Conditioner.
She will smell like a rosemary chicken, but it works.
You can get it in Ulta and I think even Target

Re: Lice repellant?
Wanted to add, make sure you spray her neck, shoulders, on top of her clothes as well. And any backpacks or bags she brings

Lice repellant?
Unfortunately both of my daughters had lice last week! It is horrible and I was so disgusted. One was very itchy one was not itchy at all and had it worse. I caught it early on though and the nurse at school was surprised at how well I took care of it. When she checked the girls they had not one nit left and she said most kids come in with at least 2.
I am now using tea tree shampoo and conditioner. I bought tea tree oil and am going to mix a 5-10 drops in a spray bottle with water to spray on their clothes, bag and coat. I bought the Rosemary Repel that NervousNell posted to spray in their hair. Also will spray hairspray too.

Lice repellant?
We use Suave Rosemary Mint shampoo and the Fairy Tales spray. My DD had lice one year...and I paid $250 at Deliceful to get her de-liced. She has THICK hair, so I knew I couldn't do it on my own. We caught it way early, like the day she got her (her BFF had it that is why I checked her that day), she had like six nits. Best money I have spent lol. I also have a metal comb that was like $20 that I brush through her hair with periodically. That is what picked it up in the first place...not my eyes (I checked and checked and checked and saw nothing!)

Lice repellant?
U can mix a few drops of tea tree essential oil with a little bit of liquid soap, put this in a spray bottle and fill the bottle with water. Spray it when u’re doing her hair in the morning before she goes to school. It’s important u use liquid soap to properly disperse the essential oil in the water otherwise the oil will just sit on top. There are other natural dispersant u can use but liquid soap will work just fine.

Lmao!!! No worries, we’ll be smelling like geranium, lemon eucalyptus, patchouli, and citronella during the warm and hot months to repel ticks and other bugs. From the dogs to the kids!! My husband thinks we smell like hippies . Hey if it works, then that’s all that matters.
