Anaesthesia w a cough? xpost
My 2.5 year old is due for a tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy and turbinate reduction in 2 days. He has a very slight cough, mostly in the morning. Does anyone have experience? Will his surgery be postponed? We've waited so long for this and I'm so stressed about a possible cancellation. I plan on calling the surgeon and hospital later today

DS needed anasetheisa to get dental work and he had a cough when he went for his clearance. I was also really stressed cause they only do it once a month and he could not wait any longer to get it done. My ped gave him the clearance. He said the cough was not anything to worry about and he said DS could still get it done.

Do you need to see a doctor for clearance? Before DD had her tubes placed, she had to see her ped within 2 days before the surgery for clearance.
