Tip: leave it in your laundry basket and wear as you go along. It saves time having to put them away— signed Lazy LIFer.

Re: Am I the only psycho
Growing up, I liked doing laundry. I could just do it in the laundry room and it would be nice and toasty but now as an adult having to walk out of building or find a building with space (we are a community of buildings in Queens that you can do your laundry in any one), I have grown to hate it. It is a literal chore. I made DH a poster that said “Laundry King.” He doesn’t mind doing it and I could not be more thankful!

Re: Am I the only psycho
I used to live in an apartment with no laundry, so I had to lug it down the block. Now I have a washer/dryer in my basement so I don't mind doing laundry. Though those goddamn cave crickets like to leap out at me from time to time while I'm down there.
I just hate putting the clothes away. I'll begrudgingly put the clothes away in drawers, but the stuff to hang? Nope, they are perpetually hung over the back of a chair. I just can't do it!
ETA: Now dishes... that's a different story. They are the bane of my existence. My DH is the worst at doing dishes and our dishwasher stinks so until we get a new one... it's hand washing for me. And I'll do a full sink of dishes and then my 2 y/o will suddenly need a new cup and throw her old one in the spanky clean sink. And then DH will drop in a spoon and a coffee mug and I'll just huddle in the corner rocking back and forth holding my knees. Laundry and dishes are truly the never ending story.
