Are most schools or all schools closed Friday?
I want to take my kids somewhere for the day and had a few things planned but didn’t realize schools may be closed? Which would change up what we did, I don’t like going to crowded places

are you talking about this Friday? Yes, most schools will be closed because it is good Friday

Yes, schools are closed this Friday. If you can switch to next Friday, a lot of schools have to open then bc there were too many snow days.

Ok thanks! I didn’t realize schools close for Good Friday I went to private school as a kid so we always had off, so I wasn’t sure. I took a floating holiday for this Friday, I’ll try and think of something to do with them that won’t be overly crowded

I think most, if not all, LI schools are closed on Good Friday.

DD's daycare/school is closed this Friday as well as the school my sister works in. She's also off all next week.

DDs daycare is closed and we have no one to stay with her because we had no idea they’d be closed (her old daycare was open).
So, yes!

I would go wherever you plan to go, and just get there right when it opens. I find all non school days, weekends included are jam packed everywhere. Stores, play places, parks, etc.
