Wills—what else do we need?
Can someone please explain to me what me and my husband need? We are young-ish, we have a one year old and have been putting this off for too long. Wills, obviously. Living proxy? Power of attny?

Life Insurance -term with the ability to convert to long term care insurance when older.
Disability insurance.

We actually just saw an attorney today to do these. We are doing wills, health care proxy/living will, and durable power of attorneys.

A will drafted by an attorney. NY is tricky as far as what form of will is acceptable. A good attorney will advise you about the rest.
