yes, yes!! i should know better and i should have done this about 20 years ago.
i am finally writing my will. wow! it's hard work
no wonder i've been putting it off for so long

Dumb question, but do DH and I really need one right now if we don't own a home? We do have two kids and we have their care handled should anything happen. Im just unsure of what else would go into a will

How do you have their care handled? Did you create a document? Or just verbally discuss with someone. That would need to be in your will.

How do you have their care handled? Did you create a document? Or just verbally discuss with someone. That would need to be in your will.
Verbally discussed. I guess I should have something written just to have it official. Besides the custody what else would go into a will when you don't own property?

Yes have a will. God forbid you die it makes it harder on the ones left behind to access your money.
Another thing to consider is having a beneficiary on your bank accounts - it makes it much easier to access the accounts in the event of death.
