Personal life/growth - something like a toned down version of Persuit of Happyness (since I’m obviously not filthy rich). Any movie where the character came from shit and made something of themselves would be my story.
Family life - tv sitcom George Lopez mixed with Modern family.

My life is the Goldbergs except 10 years later and I've married into the family. Every time we watch that show my DH comments, "oh my god that's my family."

Yep, that is a 100% eating out with my in-laws. We were dying that entire episode.
