Flowers/Fruit Order?
Where do you order from or where have you received good orders from for flower or fruit? My best friend just moved away and I wanted to order something for her birthday but... I can't believe these insane prices! & then to not even know if they're gonna look nice!
I just tried to order on teleflora and was almost done when they tried to charge me a $15.99 service fee... for what?! Apparantly "wire fees, etc." according to the rep I chatted with. What the eff?!

Re: Flowers/Fruit Order?
Honestly the Valentine's Day roses I got from Pro Flowers are still amazing and perfect and it's over a week later. That is always the freshest to me. But it doesn't come in a pretty arrangement- you have to take them out and put them in a vase, add water/food, arrange them.
But they always last way longer than the florists

I like Shari'd Berries or Edible arrangements.
You can send something like juniors cheesecake. I've done that before. There are a few places that mail cakes or cupcake arrangements. I forget the names. Check Ebates!!

Re: Flowers/Fruit Order?
I really like FairyTale Brownies.
But I would also try Etsy. I sent a friend chocolate chip cookie shot glasses (for milk) last year and they were awesome.
I have also sent a Chicago Deep Dish Pizza from Goldbelly, but they can be pricy when no coupon code out there.

Re: Flowers/Fruit Order?
I use 800 flowers mainly because with shoprunner you get free shipping But, about 2 weeks ago, they had a groupon available which wouldnt allow me to use shoprunner so I ended up signing up for their passport program. For $19.99 it gives free shipping for a year on ALL of their brands - shipping the arrangement I wanted was going to cost $19.98 so it was worth it for me. The two last arrangements I sent looked great, and my husband just sent one that is also in good shape

Re: Flowers/Fruit Order?
Bouqs.com has the nicest flowers, unique arrangements (not boring like some others) and my Vday flowers are still going strong!
I also like Wolfermans for food gift baskets (more pastries, muffins, breads type of stuff)
