Seat/swing for 7 month old
what seat/swing do you use for your 7 month old
I have the mamaroo but he is almost growing out of it.
i have a little bouncy seat to just wondering if there was something else out there

I feel like at that age, DD spent a lot of time in the exersaucer or jumperoo.
In terms of a seat, she still fit in her bouncy seat, but wanted nothing to do with being in it- she wanted to crawl or scootch around and she sat up on her own on the floor.

I think at that age they’re probably outgrowing the swing.
As Nell said, I think it’s best to let them try to sit on their own on the floor. Maybe put a Boppy behind then for light support. All of those baby seats like the Bumbo that force them into a position are actually not great for their development.
At that age you could probably also start using the high chair. My kids loved to be higher up to watch what was going on in the kitchen.

I agree with pp. DD used to sit on her various play mats and play. She also had a baby gym that converted to a small ball pit. It was by infantino and was shaped like a turtle. I still have it and take it out when we have company over with small babies and they all love it.

By 7 months I had packed away all the swings and baby seats. They played on the floor, excersaucer, and jumperoo.

Th aks. We have both a jumperoo and exersaucer. We used the swing for quick naps and the bouncy to just keep him contained for a bit. He does play on his mats etc

How about a pack in play for the quick naps and if you need to keep him contained a bit?
I used that more as a playpen when needed

We use the swing occasionally for naps. She likes to be on the floor crawling around but also LOVES this toy.
