If you ordered something and the person you bought it from said it will be there for xmas BUT IT WASNT would you let them know. Honest opinions please.

Yes and I would ask for a refund. If I order stuff I expect it by the delivery date and if it’s not here i want my money back. When I have an issue I usually don’t order again from that person or website

Yes, and if it had not shipped, I would expect a full refund. If it had shipped and the delivery company was delayed then I would not, but I would put a photo of the item in a card to say it will be here with the delivery info and deal.

I asked a couple of my friends they said they wouldnt say anything. I thought I was wrong to say something. But the more I think about the more angry Im getting. I asked the seller 3 times "if i order this today will it be here before Christmas. Was told Yes each time. Its a heavy item amd shipping was 50 bucks! I checked the ups tracking its due Dec 26th! When I was told it would,be here yesterday.

Without a doubt. It was guaranteed for pre-Christmas delivery and the seller should have made sure of that, especially for $50

Oh hell no. I would absolutely say something. Actually, I would have said something 3 days ago, then 2 days ago, then yesterday and then today it would have been a verbal massacre. But that's just me.

Think of it this way. Had you known her shipping method wouldn’t get it there in time for Christmas, you probably would have gone with a different vendor. The entire reason she got your business in the first place (I’m guessing) is because of her “guarantee” of a delivery date prior to the big day. She didn’t hold up to her end. I’d absolutely not let that slide, ESPECIALLY after paying $50 for delivery.
I’ve complained to Amazon when stuff hasn’t arrived by the guaranteed date, and that’s with FREE shipping!

Although that s doubtful since every shipping company is really hustling right now to get packages delivered in time. What day did they ship it out, and how far away do they live?

Thats the other thing! He said he'd ship it either Sunday or Monday didnt go out til Tuesday. He said it would get to me Friday. Seller based in Iowa im in New Hampshire.

I wouldn't expect a full refund, but a partial one for sure. At least part of the $50 shipping back geeeeeeeeeeez!

right but did the SELLER guarantee arrival or is that USPS/FEdex ,etc. that said guaranteed delivery.
When I have customers rush things I give them all options, price wise, for priority ,express, etc. and tell them that the method guarantees xx arrival dates, but often times (with USPS overnight) they fall short on their guarantee and that I am not responsbile if they screw up delivery for whatever reason.
However, I would still say something to the seller that per our convos it was supposed to arrive xx date, and as of today still hasnt.
