WWYD? (Christmas gift and a missed birthday)
My cousin lives OOS and has 3 kids. The oldest is my Goddaughter and now lives with her boyfriend (probably soon to be fiance). Her birthday is on Christmas Eve.
My cousin's middle kid is in college and his birthday is a few days after Christmas
The youngest is in high school. Her birthday is in Oct.
Since my Goddaughter was born, I have always made sure I get her very separate birthday and Christmas gifts. Same with her brother whose b'day is a few days after Christmas. I always send a b'day gift to the youngest in Oct, but I had a lot going on in my personal life this year, and I forgot.
So, now I am sending gift cards to each of the kids for Christmas (tucked inside Christmas cards), along with separate gift cards (in birthday cards) for the 2 oldest, whose birthdays are coming up. So, my question is, would you send a "double" gift card to the youngest for Christmas, or just the regular Christmas gift that you would have sent if you had remembered to send a birthday gift?

WWYD? (Christmas gift and a missed birthday)
My nephew lives OOS - with a birthday November 20th. They are coming in for Christmas, so I am going to give him a Birthday card with his gift along side his Christmas gift. Its basically a double gift card, but in separate forms to delineate that one is bday, one Christmas.

It really depends on the situation if I would give a separate gift or bigger Christmas gift. I think in this case, I would send a separate birthday gift card for the October birthday as well. You could send it in a belated card or just a regular card.

I would send separate birthday cards to all three & just write in the one "sorry your birthday card is a little late this year, hope it was great!" Or something like that.

I would send double gifts for her if you are sending double gifts to the others. My FIL skipped my DD birthday this year and didn’t forget one of my other kids, and it was very heartbreaking for my DD. While I get the girl is older than my DD, I’m sure she will still be a little hurt if she isn’t included.

I think this is an all or nothing situation if you're already gifting the other two.
